FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Do we need to move furniture/appliances/wall art before your team arrives? It would be greatly appreciated if you do. However, if it's not possible, we can proceed with the moving.

Does Bruner Painting do house repairs? Our services cover small house repairs such as caulking and patching holes. We do NOT handle installations of walls or replacing wood/sidings.

Can I edit my job once the service has started? We are here to help you achieve the job you desire! If time allows a "change in order", it may be possible to add small changes while we are on site. It depends on the scope of the request. Do NOT ask the painters that are on site to perform any additions without going through Dan or Stan first. This ensures transparency and that all parties are on the same page.

Can you help me pick colors? If you're having difficulty choosing colors, don't worry! We have an expert who can assist you. Alternatively, you can use the Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap® program to visually see colors on your project!

Can we leave our house when you guys are painting? Feel free to leave the house while we handle the painting process. Alternatively, you're welcome to stay during the service as well.

How long does it typically take to complete a full house painting service? It depends on the size and scope of the project. It can vary due to weather, prep required, and any "changes in order".

Do we need to trim back our shrubs/bushes/trees/plants away from the house? While we do have a technique to pull shrubs back for painting, we kindly request that all plants be trimmed away from the house to ensure proper drying of the paint. Keeping plants and water away will also contribute to the longevity of the paint job.

Can you match paint from a hardware/paint store? Rest assured, we can match any color you provide us.

How long until I can turn the sprinklers back on after exterior work? For optimal results, we recommend waiting 48 hours (2 days) before exposing newly painted areas to water. We also recommend using this time to adjust sprinklers so they don't spray on the building. This will help your paint job last longer.

Is it okay if our pets are outside/inside when you're painting? To ensure a smooth process, we kindly request that pets be kept away from the painters to avoid any potential mess.
